Private Information Technology Training

The base program and incremental cost table can be used for deriving the fee associated with presentation of a private information technology course. The base fee is based upon the technical complexity of the instruction and a minimum class size of six students. The aggregate private course fee is the base rate multiplied by the course duration, the incremental cost based upon class size, and distance-learning premium service(s).

For training conducted at the client location, the client also will be responsible for the instructor's travel expenses: roundtrip coach air transportation, roundtrip transportation to the airport, local ground transportation, client approved hotel or motel accommodations, and per diem living allowance. For courss within 75 miles of a CETi technology partner center, there will be out-of-pocket transportation costs: public transportation, standard automobile mileage, and highway tolls. These travel expenses will be qualified in the engagement letter, purchase order, or contract.

Base Cost - Private Training

The cost of a private course is based upon the technical complexity of the information technology subject matter. The minimum class size of 6 students.

Classroom instruction can be extended with a distance-learning service.

Distance-learning - Qualifying Costs

The rate schedule for distance/web-based learning and classroom instruction is identical. With the distance/web-based learning private training service, these costs will need to be qualified with the client organization:

Internet Content Delivery

Private Client System	The assumption is that there will be no additional charges.
Open Source Moodle	This will be delivered through the public internet.
Commercial Service	The client organization will be responsible for a surcharge associated with small class sizes of three or fewer students.

Course Materials

For training in volume, there will be a surcharge associated with the reproduction and shipment of the student course materials and documentation.

Cost savings can be made by client through in-house printing and distributing of PDF files.

Premium Services

These services include: recording of live sessions, transcripts, whiteboard content, licensing of resource inputs, webinars, SCORM to client LMS, content to mobile device platforms, and podcasts.

Prior to accepting a distance-learning assignment, it is standard practice to review the transmission delivery infrastructure. It will be necessary to confirm the external quality of service forwarding of data to the geographic locations of the training and internal quality of service for the delivery of data up to and through the local area network to the intended audience.

There will be a charge associated with utilizing the CETi computer time and distance-learning services.
