Footnote: 1

The New York State Department of Education Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision website and Director's course identified that there is no NRV: Nationally Recognized Vendor for the IBM mainframe software environment. In conjunction with submission of additional mainframe curriculum, Computer Education Techniques, has updated its mainframe courseware to address this void and the scarcity of up to date industry standard textbooks. The z/OS JCL - Basic : Mainframe Programming Environment and PL/1: Mainframe System Software courseware as a learning center is a component of the NRV submission. It is available free of charge to evaluate the mainframe training service and provide practice outside of regular class hours.

Footnote: 2

Microsoft .Net is the registered trademark associated with the intellectual property and software copyright of Microsoft Corporation. In order to distinguish its training service from Microsoft certification, Computer Education Techniques course search engine and websites spells lower case "dot net" .NET in all upper case. CETi's MS .NET lesson plans have been developed based upon the experience of staff members and technology partners coding and debugging MS Windows and .NET applications in IBM mainframe and hybrid information technology environments.

IBM MQ is the registered trademark associated with the intellectual property and software copyright of IBM Corporation. In order to distinguish the CETi brand training service from IBM certified courses, the course search engine lists IBM WebSphere MQ middleware as IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ). IBM is rebranding DB2 to Db2.
