Analysis Engine
Examine the Analysis Engine; the analysis engine is an expert system that encapsulates the collective debugging experience of IBM software architects, developers, and testers.
Examine when the Analysis Engine is started automatically: 1- Initiated after an abend. 2- Application-initiated for the program SNAP interface.
Examine when the Analysis Engine is user-initiated for fault reanalysis.
Real-time Analysis
Suppress certain types of dumps.
Provide the name of the fault history file.
Control the real-time analysis with options.
Understand and read the real-time fault analysis report.
ISPF Interface
Start an interactive reanalysis.
View information about the fault.
Delete the fault entry.
Performing Batch Reanalysis
Start a batch reanalysis.
Specify general batch reanalysis options that apply to batch jobs only.
Create a batch reanalysis job.
Performing CICS System Abend Dump Analysis
Set options for CICS system abend analysis.
Select a CICS dump dataset.
Select an address space to analyze.
Display the CICS system abend interactive report.
Fault Analyzer Report
Run and debug a program when more than one abend code has been presented; review the records for open sequential files.
The summary section is used for reviewing event entry in a list; examine the module name, program name, and failing line or statement number.
Review detailed information about each event.
Perform Interactive Reanalysis
