    1. Introduction
      • How to capture errors and produce consistent error messages.
      • Restart and debug capabilities.
      • z/OS concepts: task, memory and data management.
    2. Data Representation and Conversion
      • Calculate using hexadecimal arithmetic.
      • Convert values between decimal and hexadecimal.
    3. Compiler / Linkage Editor Listing
      • Find debugging information in the source listing and the Linkage Editor listing.
    4. Dump Components
      • Trace the relationship between control blocks.
      • Generate dumps and review the control blocks and working memory: data exceptions, protection exceptions, and zero divide error.
    5. Debugging Techniques
      • Memory management techniques.
      • Generate dumps and analyze the control blocks and working memory.
      • Memory performance.
      • Exceeding the maximum allocated memory.
    6. COBOL Blocks
      • Data management techniques for QSAM datasets.
      • Generate dumps and review the control blocks and working memory in order to read an output dataset and access a VSAM dataset.
    7. Utilities
      • Interactive debugging tools.
      • Dump analysis tools.
    8. Common Completion Codes
      • Debug a program with multiple modules.
